Brilliance!

When I first saw hearts/eyes I actually thought they were asking what happened to those organs - I wasn't paying enough attention to the end of line 2 and after reading it all I had to backtrack and re-read most of it to get the full enjoyment.

Love the use of colours, composition and everything about the story.

Although I'm not sure what the other 2 veg are. Avacado? Papaya? The cubes I have no idea. Not that it really affects the story.

I redrew the panel at the end of line two, so I must have been having issues with it myself.
The foods are (supposed to be) avacado, celery, and goats cheese. But you're right, it doesn't matter to the story: the kids are supposed to be baffled by the exoticness of the packed lunch.

Oooh ello! I'm really enjoying reading all the entries that are being linked to from friends and such. I've started a little flickr group here that people can post their entries to if you fancy it (reason being I already knew a few people already had posted them up on flickr so it naturally seemed to follow on). There's not much to see there just yet, but hopefully we can get quite a collection going!

Hope you don't mind me adding you as, hiatus or no, I look forward to seeing more in the future!

Ha, yes, I've been following the entry on Draw Anyway avidly! I think it's a good idea to cover as many bases as possible. There really is a lot of fine work to be seen!
